We pride ourselves as being the friendly amateur radio group with interests in all manner of communications such as digital modes, amateur TV, weather satellite reception as well as the ordinary amateur radio communication modes.

We put on special event stations several times a year including:

  • Swadlincote Science Event - at Rosliston Forestry Centre, Rosliston, South Derbyshire

  • The Festival of Leisure - at Maurice Lea Memorial Park - Church Gresley, South Derbyshire

  • Plus others as we get asked!!!

Our latest venture has been supporting Eureka Primary School in the setting up and launch of their new school station - M0GND! The school are hoping to be on the air initially once per month - dates will be added to our website.

We have a wide age range within our membership.

If you would like to learn more, have the club attend your event or even become a radio amateur, please feel free to contact the club via the 'Meet the Club' page.

We also hold courses for the amateur radio license syllabus contact Lewis G4CRT for details. For any other information contact Kim 2E0KAH or Jacqui 2E0JQY.
